In July, SUFE hosted the second SUFE-Cambridge International Summer Program. Professors from Cambridge University, University of Wisconsin together with more than ten students from Cambridge University, London University and University of Wisconsin gathered at SUFE. They explored ideas and studied together with students and teachers at SUFE during the three-week long exchange.
I enjoyed my time at SUFE and I am very happy that I had a chance to start exploring the rich and vibrant Chinese cultural heritage, traditions and academic environment. From the last three weeks I have lots of good memories, as well as having learnt a lot from our classes here at SUFE. I hope I will be able to come here again in the up-coming years and engage more with the University and its students.

The academic sessions at SUFE have been very enjoyable. I have engaged particularly with our Chinese language and culture lessons. These were well placed at the beginning of the summer school. The Chinese language lessons helped my understanding of the complex pronunciation and tones within the Chinese language, which until this point has been difficult to practice. The culture lessons provided an excellent introduction to Chinese philosophy, religion and medicine. The teachers have been very keen to help us in our understanding and encourage further study.
