Delegation from the National Economics University of Vietnam Visits SUFE

On the morning of November 10, a delegation from the National Economics University (NEU) of Vietnam visited SUFE. The two sides held productive discussions on expanding areas of cooperation and deepening their partnership. The meeting was chaired by Wang Lei, Deputy Director of the International Office.

Mr. Wang Lei first extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the university. He briefly introduced SUFE’s recent developments and its progress in internationalization, and reviewed the achievements in exchanges and cooperation between the two universities since 2023. He noted that NEU, as a leading institution in the field of economics and management in Vietnam, shares a solid foundation and broad prospects for collaboration with SUFE. He expressed hope that both sides would further expand cooperation areas and enrich the content of their collaboration.

Nguyen Ngoc Son, Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Public Management at NEU, expressed gratitude for the warm reception. He introduced NEU’s talent cultivation system, highlighting the development and distinctive features of its English-taught programs across different levels and fields. He emphasized that NEU places great importance on cooperation with Chinese universities and actively promotes Chinese language education. He expressed the hope that, building on existing student exchange programs, the two sides would further expand cooperation in short-term study programs, faculty exchanges, and joint research, thereby continuously deepening the partnership.

During the meeting, representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the feasibility of future cooperation in areas such as master’s programs, short-term study visits, summer programs, and Chinese language training and teaching. Both parties expressed their willingness to jointly promote the implementation of these initiatives.

This meeting further consolidated the friendly cooperative relationship between SUFE and NEU, laying a solid foundation for broader and deeper exchanges and collaboration in the future.
