Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) is located in Yangpu District, Shanghai. The main campus is situated at 777 Guoding Road, with additional campuses on Zhongshan North First Road and Kunshan Road. The main campus offers a beautiful and inspiring environment that combines the rich heritage of a century-old institution with modern educational facilities.

Classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and sports venues are well arranged, creating a balanced space for study and campus life. Student dormitories are comfortable and well-maintained, while campus dining options are diverse, including both Chinese and Western restaurants as well as cafes. With convenient transportation and a vibrant neighborhood, the campus is only about 20 minutes from downtown Shanghai, providing an ideal setting that blends academic vitality with the dynamic energy of the city.

The SUFE Library, located at the heart of the Guoding Road Main Campus. Covering more than 30,000 square meters, it consists of a seven-storey main building and a five-storey annex with over 3,000 seats, offering spacious reading rooms, lending areas, individual study rooms, shared academic spaces, and a multimedia hall.

The library has built a world-class collection of information resources. By 2024, its holdings exceeded 20 million items across all formats, including 2.38 million print books, 15.56 million e-books and dissertations, 120,000 bound print journal volumes, 2.3 million e-journal volumes, 52,000 SUFE doctoral and master’s theses, and 131 databases. The collections cover a wide range of disciplines in Chinese and English, with particular strength in economics, finance, management, and law.

SUFE offers modern and versatile sports facilities across its campus, including multi-purpose indoor gyms, outdoor basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, a standard track and field stadium, a swimming pool, and a fully equipped fitness center. SUFE offers comfortable and convenient on-campus accommodation for international students. The dormitory is located at No. 409 Sanmen Road, Baoshan District and No. 369 Zhongshan Beiyi Road, Hongkou District.

Options

• Single Rooms: Available for both short-term (less than 90 days) and long-term (more than 90 days) stays. Rates range from ¥60 to ¥90 per day, depending on the duration of stay.

• Double Rooms: Suitable for two occupants, with rates between ¥40 and ¥60 per day.

• Three-Person Rooms: Designed for three students, offering a cost-effective option at ¥30 per day for long-term stays.

All rooms are equipped with essential amenities, including air conditioning, private bathrooms, and access to shared laundry facilities. For short-term residents, electricity charges are included in the accommodation fee. Long-term residents are required to pay electricity bills based on metered usage, with an initial deposit of ¥100.

• Laundry Services: Laundry machines are available at a fee of ¥3 per use, with a ¥10 deposit for the laundry card.

• Deposit Requirements: A refundable deposit of ¥800 is required upon check-in.

Accommodation reservations are managed by the university. Some options require online booking with fees, while others are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. It's advisable to apply early to secure preferred accommodation.
