Preparing to study abroad can be a challenge. Scoring a high mark on the IELTS is hard enough, and mastering how to write a convincing essay in English is most difficult. For students who need to build up their English level, the Center for Independent Foreign Language Learning at SUFE has resources to help.

 Familiarity with a culture’s literature builds a valuable foundation for understanding that culture. The Foreign Studies Department regularly invites foreign academics to lecture on English literature, language theory, and the study of other world languages.
