In March, President Fan Liming cordially met with the delegation headed by Chancellor Jose Ma Sanz Martinez and Vice Chancellor Amaya Mendikoetxea of Uiversidad Autonoma de Madrid of Spain. During the visit, both parties discussed future collaborations on international summer sessions, student exchange programs, faculty exchange programs, and so on.  Both sides reached an initial consensus.
